Task 3
Our researches state that at sunset, due to the intense light caused by the sun, drivers are temporarily blinded and occasionally lose control over the car. This blindness is caused by the sun’s glare and we plan to have self-tinting car windows that tint according to intensity of light.
There has already been implementation of self-tinting windows and although they come in different shades, they do not change based on the intensity of sunlight.
This research alone serves as evidence that much has been done in the field of “accidents due to blindness from sunlight” and there could, therefore, be a very successful and energy efficient invention.
We have devised a plan to install a light sensor on the bonnet that detects the intensity of sunlight and sends signals to a microcomputer, also installed, that accordingly amends the shade of the glass windows.
