Task 1
Sage Electrochromics
The SageGlass can reduce cooling costs for buildings by 20 percent and light expenses for up to 60 percent. Owners will flip a switch or by programming the windows to dim at certain times of the day. There will also be a low-voltage electric current running through the glass which colours it from clear to a bluish hue. When the current switches off, the ions and electrons return to their previous layers, and the glass becomes clear.

RavenBrick:
RavenWindows take energy efficiency through the use of innovative ‘smart glass’ that allows it to tint with a change in the temperature conditions. RavenBrick smart windows reduce unwanted heat and glare when temperatures are high, and allow light and warmth in when temperatures drop which, along with reducing glare and unwanted heat, also reduces glare. It drastically reduces the demand on air conditioning and heating systems, saving money and natural resources.
